Embracing Creativity: The BOHO Décor Head Office Redefining Workspace Design

A Dynamic Workspace for a Growing Company

BOHO Décor, a vibrant interior design and construction company established in 2015, has recently relocated to a newly built office space designed to reflect its culture and inspire its dedicated team. Situated in the bustling urban landscape of Ho Chi Minh City, the office presents a unique set of challenges and opportunities for the architects at BOHO Décor.

Navigating Urban Constraints: The Concept of ‘The Core’

Located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the Newtecons Building, the BOHO Décor office faces the common dilemma of low-floor offices – limited outdoor views and constant urban noise. To counteract these challenges, the architects devised a revolutionary approach centered around ‘The Core.’ This central space serves as a focal point, housing communal areas such as the reception, construction desk, gallery hall, and printing rooms. By directing attention towards ‘The Core,’ the office fosters a sense of unity and collaboration among team members, despite the bustling surroundings.

Openness and Collaboration: Designing Without Boundaries

In line with BOHO Décor’s open culture, the architects opted to eliminate solid walls and separators, opting instead for color blocks, hollow geometric shapes, and transparent glasses to delineate spaces. This approach not only promotes interaction and collaboration but also ensures an uninterrupted flow of natural light throughout the office, enhancing the overall ambiance and energy.

Harnessing Technology for Well-being: Smart Lighting Solutions

Addressing the issue of low and indirect lighting, the architects implemented a state-of-the-art lighting system designed to adjust brightness and color temperature according to the natural environment and human circadian rhythms. This smart lighting solution not only enhances the aesthetics of the space but also contributes to the well-being of employees, promoting focus and relaxation throughout the day.

Setting the Mood: Using Color Psychology

Color plays a pivotal role in setting the mood and tone of each space within the BOHO Décor office. Bright hues of yellow and neutral gray create a modern, dynamic atmosphere in the common areas, fostering creativity and professionalism. In contrast, deep blues and muted greens evoke feelings of wisdom and growth in the meeting rooms, providing a conducive environment for brainstorming and collaboration.

Prioritizing Comfort and Creativity

In addition to its sleek design, the BOHO Décor office prioritizes comfort and functionality for its employees. Curved furniture details, strategically placed plants, and innovative gadgets such as brainstorm boards and adjustable desks enhance the overall comfort and productivity of the workspace, ensuring that every team member feels valued and supported.

A Testament to Collaboration and Creativity

More than just a workspace, the BOHO Décor Head Office embodies the company’s ethos of collaboration, creativity, and innovation. Designed and produced entirely by BOHO’s in-house team, the office represents a meaningful milestone in the company’s journey, reflecting its commitment to creating spaces that inspire and empower its people.
